On 20 April 2015 there was a terrorist attack on the UN headquarters in Garowe, Somalia. As a result,  at least 9 people died and several were injured. Terrorist group Al-Shabaab claimed responsibility for the attack and announced that the aim of the attack were employees of the United Nations.

In connection with today`s events in Garowe, we join in solidarity with the victims’ families and all humanitarian workers operating in violence-prone environments.
