The project focuses on improving the standards of living of women and girls, as well as other marginalized groups, through the 3R approach:\u00a0Rights, Representation, Resources<\/em>. Through various activities regarding access to sanitation, food and disaster risk reduction, we want to respond to gender inequalities and empower women.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n

The project being run in the south-central regions of Somalia with PHA partners is intended to achieve a few goals:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Increasing stability and inclusivity, as well as the resilience of community groups involved in the project;<\/li>\n
  2. Improved access to sanitary facilities for men and women, health care and psychological and legal assistance;<\/li>\n
  3. Ensuring food security and opportunities for women and young people to find a sustainable income;<\/li>\n
  4. Strengthening cooperation and the information exchange process.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

     <\/p>\n

    The people covered by the project will include adult women and men, young people, children, people with disabilities, internally displaced persons (IDPs), minority representatives, and people from low-income families.<\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

    The project will be implemented in cooperation with local authorities in schools, local hygiene promoters, agricultural cooperatives, water management committees and associations responsible for loans and savings.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n
