In September 2023, the PAH launched the project ‘Life-saving and gender-sensitive support, including in the area of reproductive health and protection from gender-based violence for all conflict-affected people in Ukraine and Poland’.

The objective of the project is to provide psychological and social support to persons experiencing gender-based violence, LGBTQ+ persons and persons belonging to the Roma community. PHA Poland, together with the Emic Foundation, the Mudita Foundation and the Association of Ukrainians in Poland, provides assistance including psychological consultations, vocational and legal support, Polish language courses and support in accessing reproductive health services.

The activities are implemented in cooperation with the organisation CARE International in Poland and funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany.

In total, approximately 2,600 persons will receive assistance.
