Together with European Civil Protection & Humanitarian Aid Operations - ECHO we have conducted two months WASH intervention in Rokon, South Sudan. 🔎Take a look at what it included: ➡️hygiene promotion for 55,146 beneficiaries, ➡️training for mechanics which engaged them in hand pump repairs and rehabilitation of 28 broken water points, ➡️general cleaning surrounding of the health centers, schools, and water points.
Sustainable and safe water infrastructure? Yes! In Bulo and Yaaqle in Somalia, we build a solar-powered water system. 🚰 Now families can fetch water every day from the recently set up taps. Solar-powered water pumps are the new source of safe drinking water 💦 The project is supported by UNICEF.

Our team has built two new wells in Magwi, South Sudan! 2195 beneficiaries - got access to safe, drinking water now 💦 ➡️Take a look at the process of drilling and the final effect! 👨🔧👩🔧In addition, we have trained 14 water committees. Their members are local residents who, thanks to the training and distribution of tools are able to take care of the conservation of new water points on their own.
