❗️In Yemen 70% of the population is suffering from food insecurity and malnutrition. 🔵 Together with our partner Caritas Polska we delivered food baskets to 100 pregnant women, patients the Imran Health Facility. The clinic also received infant formula for babies who are less than six months old. We want to prevent malnutrition and support breastfeeding mothers. 💦 In Iraq, we provide access to water in camps for internally displaced persons. Water quality is monitored daily by local employees who have been trained in this area. This way, we can be sure that the water we provide is clean and safe, and employed, local people can earn a living and gain new skills. 🔷 Packages with food and hygiene products were delivered to another 190 elderly people and people with disabilities, residents of villages in Donbass in Ukraine. Because public transport in frontline areas now completely stopped many people were cut off from the world and their financial situation is very difficult. 🔵 Fear and anxiety about a disease can be overwhelming especially for older and lonley people who have limited access to information. 👵🧓 In Ukraine we provide psychological support for the elderly living near the front lines. Our social workers call the people we help, to explain what's happening , how to protect themselves and try to cheer them up. Their work is extremely important.
