The project focuses on the protection of residents in the Canal Pigi area of the Jonglei State in South Sudan, particularly those who have experienced forced displacement, live in unsafe conditions and have no access to basic services.
The aim is to strengthen local protection systems, to improve the response to gender-based violence, to ensure the safety of children and to reduce the risks faced by women, girls and children. The actions are integrated and tailored to local needs.
In total, 1,502 people will receive assistance.
