Access to clean drinking water in Yemen is a major humanitarian challenge. Years of conflict, damaged infrastructure and internal displacement left many communities, including residents of the Al-Khukhah district, struggling to access safe water. Polish Humanitarian Action (PAH) supports local communities by helping to restore and maintain permanent and safe access to water.
The project in Tur Qataba involves improving the water supply system for 5,400 people, including 1,890 internally displaced persons. It addresses problems such as water scarcity, damaged infrastructure, equipment theft and the risk of water contamination.

The project aims to provide convenient access to water, strengthen community resilience and reduce the risk of water-borne diseases. With stable and safe access to water, the daily lives of Tur Qataba residents will improve and the community will enjoy better health and safety.
