PAH’s activities in Lebanon offer an opportunity to develop the professional and educational potential of people who have experienced armed conflict, forced displacement and the humanitarian crisis in the country.
In 2026, Polish Humanitarian Action (PAH) will continue the work of its GLOW Centre, delivering new vocational training courses tailored to the current needs and professional development potential of trainees on the Lebanese labour market.
To enhance the skills of course participants and support them in entering the labour market, the ‘Freelance Launchpad for Empowering Entrepreneurs’ training programme has been launched. Through a series of workshops and exercises, participants will gain knowledge on the principles of entrepreneurship, including business management, marketing and finance. The implementation of practical business ideas will be additionally supported by mentoring activities.
The project will also address the educational needs of children and young people, focusing on creating suitable learning conditions. To this end, three educational establishments in Lebanon will be renovated and equipped with furniture, teaching materials and solar installations. This support will reach 1,200 pupils.
Furthermore, the Mobile Training Team, established in 2025, will promote participation in education among communities where the proportion of children dropping out of the school system is high.
In total, the support will cover 2,768 people.
